Pregnancy Care With Anthus

It is more than a series of checkups.

Time to Ask, Learn, and Understand

Prenatal visits with Anthus are an hour long.

That time gives us room for clinical care, questions, education, concerns, and the things shaping your experience of pregnancy.

As pregnancy progresses, visits become more frequent to meet the changing needs of you and your baby.

Care That Changes With Your Pregnancy

Early care focuses on healthy foundations through nutrition, hydration, movement, supplements, and supportive habits.

Early Pregnancy

As Pregnancy Progresses

We prepare more intentionally for birth, breastfeeding, movement, and the weeks ahead.

Visits become more frequent as we prepare for labor, communication, your home, and what to expect as birth approaches.

In the Final Weeks

Thoughtful Monitoring Throughout Pregnancy

Labs, Screenings, and Ultrasounds

Clinical care includes routine assessment throughout pregnancy.

Prenatal labs, glucose screening, and ultrasound help us understand how you and your baby are doing and identify anything that may need closer attention.

These tools give us additional information as your pregnancy progresses.

Continuing to Assess the Plan for Birth

Home birth is intended for low-risk pregnancies, so we continue evaluating whether it remains appropriate throughout your care.

We pay attention to your health, your baby’s development, screening results, and any changes that may affect the plan for birth.

If something needs closer attention, we can involve additional expertise and help you navigate what comes next.

Preparing for Birth Before Labor Begins

As birth gets closer, we talk through labor, preparing your home, gathering supplies, when to reach out, and what to expect next.

The Home Visit

Around 37 weeks, your prenatal visit takes place in your home.

We look at the space together, talk through where you may want to labor, and work through practical details such as birth-pool placement when applicable.

Your home does not need to be large or specially designed for birth. We simply want it to feel comfortable, workable, and familiar before labor begins.
